Tresco Logistics Private Limited : Indian tech giant, Infosys, has announced the acquisition of Simplus, a US-based Salesforce consulting and advisory firm for $250 million. The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Infosys’ position in the cloud services market, which has seen significant growth in recent years.
Simplus is a leading provider of Salesforce consulting, implementation, and support services, with a client base that includes some of the world’s largest brands. The acquisition will help Infosys expand its portfolio of cloud services and enhance its capabilities in the rapidly evolving Salesforce ecosystem.
The acquisition is also expected to create new opportunities for Simplus, which will now have access to Infosys’ extensive network of clients and expertise in the digital transformation space. The acquisition is part of Infosys’ strategy to focus on digital and cloud services, which are increasingly in demand from clients across industries.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first quarter of Infosys’ fiscal year 2022. This is not the first time that Infosys has made an acquisition in the cloud services space. In 2018, the company acquired Fluido, a leading Salesforce consulting partner in Nordics and Europe, for $76 million.
The acquisition of Simplus is expected to help Infosys consolidate its position as a leading provider of digital and cloud services and drive growth in the highly competitive global market.
